…murdered behind closed doors under the covering of American “law”. Child Sacrifice is our National Sin. America was guilty of kidnapping and selling our neighbors on the auction blocks in the 1800s, and we are now guilty of turning a blind eye to our pre-born neighbors and murdering them daily through our inaction, justifications, and betrayals. Until it was abolished, slavery exposed the hypocrisy of America’s foundational claim that all men “are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.”
Today, Abortion does the same.
The following may seem to be a bit of an iconoclastic claim so please do not stop reading this article, but test this against God’s word and His gift of reason to see if the claim has merit.
A true patriot – a man or woman who believes what it says in the Declaration of Independence and genuinely loves his country – does not think of the 4th of July holiday as a chance to barbecue and see fireworks, but sees more value in demonstrating his love for his nation by calling it to repent of its gross violation of that document.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…”
We who love our country are faced with the reality that America is in deep trouble. We cannot escape the hard truth of the continuous and daily slaughter of thousands of innocent children. With that knowledge, our stomachs ought to turn when we hear the national anthem performed, with its words “…the land of the free and the home of the brave…,” followed by cheers. We ought to feel the very real conviction of a hypocrite when we attend the 4th of July festivities and pretend with everyone else that we have cause to be so proud and that we are without sin.
And before you say that we are “haters of America” or ungrateful for what veterans have done to grant us the freedoms we have, please understand that it is because we love our country and fellow Americans and that we speak this truth. Many abolitionists have served in various branches of the military and still do. Our brothers and sisters and fathers have served in foreign wars. We do know the sacrifices that have been made.
But that is all the more reason we should not pretend that all is well in our nation. The very sacrifices that our friends and family have made on the battlefields for the sake of freedom have been defiled by the evil of child sacrifice in our land, and true patriots should stand against such an unjust condition. The murder of millions of innocent children, under the guise that our constitution grants the right to kill children, is the most anti-American act in the history of our nation. And true patriots will not remain silent, especially on the birthday celebration of our country.
The American flag, as it is flown on the 4th of July, represents a nation that is murdering its own…in blatant defiance of God. This must stop and it will stop only when good men and women of God stand up and speak out against it.
The abuses of power against the American Colonies, in the form of taxes, embargoes and a banning of self-government, eventually caused the American Revolutionary War. If we compare the anti-American oppression and tyranny perpetrated by King George III in 1775 to the level of oppression and tyranny against Americans by the abortion monster today, one can quickly ascertain that there is urgent need to call our nation to stop doing evil.
It is an act of love to share critical truth and to warn people of pending judgment of God. Patriotism is not compliance with and an allegiance to a wicked status quo. Patriotism in America is rebellion and opposition to tyranny and oppression. Do you remember what was going on July 4th, 1776?
And if the systematic and government-sanctioned slaughter of 60 million children over 43 years is not tyranny and oppression, then what is?!
When we speak of the evil of child sacrifice that runs rampant in our nation, we are not talking about a problematic fringe of people who are rabidly pro-abortion. We are not merely talking about the Planned Parenthoods or the Democratic Party that declare “abortion on demand and without apology.” No, indeed, the greater problem is that almost our entire nation is made up of people who are actually more bothered, agitated, and irritated by the remnant of people who are trying to stop the killing than they are bothered by the killing itself.
We are a nation full of people who love their peace and affluence more than righteousness. We are a nation of people who pass by on the other side of the road, ignoring the victim in front them. We are a nation who has become distracted by the cares of the world to the detriment of our brothers and sisters who are being killed every day.
The enemy is not the abortion industry. It is the “good people” who are not willing to sacrifice to do justice and mercy for their neighbor.
During the time of American Revolutionary War, it was difficult to find those who were willing to sacrifice for the just cause. Today, and especially on the 4th of July, we honor those willing to sacrifice to make our nation even possible. Is it not truly patriotic to sacrifice your personal peace and affluence for the just cause of our age? In the words of General Washington in a letter to one of his generals:
“Let me ask you, sir, when is the time for brave men to exert themselves in the cause of liberty and their country, if this is not?”
Today, abolitionists are a voice crying in the wilderness, pleading with good men to rise up and stand against the tyranny in our land. Lest we be mistaken about what we call for, we call not to take up the muskets and bayonets of our time. We call not take up any arms against flesh and blood, but rather to war against the principalities and darkness in the spirit realm. For we are not merely at war against child killing, but rather we are at war with the worldview that makes child killing acceptable and tolerable in our midst.
The latter and lesser quoted portion of the Declaration of Independence is even more applicable today than it was 240 years ago:
“…That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends [Life, Liberty And Pursuit of Happiness], it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. ….
…But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
Can we claim that we are consistent with our founding document when we give up our right and refuse our duty to resist ultimate tyranny and despotism in cities all over our nation? God’s word declares that we are our brother’s keeper and we have not only a right, but also a duty to stand against such despots as those that would murder children in the face of God and call it a “right.”
We indeed call for good men and women to wake up and stand up against such evil, and boldly demand justice and mercy for the pre-born children who are image bearers of God and fellow human beings. We call for every patriot to demand total and immediate abolition of the killing of our fellow Americans in the womb. We call for all those who would claim the name of Christ (who Himself became a human being as a pre-born child in the womb of a woman not planning to be with child) to be an unavoidable beacon of hope by sacrificially carrying out their duty before God to declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who are perishing in our nation.
Rejection of God by those who govern or those who grant consent to the government, must end. In the words of John Adams:
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Our target is not merely the abortion enemy itself, but any ideology that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and seeks to increase idolatry and falseness amongst us. If America is made up of an amoral and idolatrous people, we indeed self-destruct and implode in totality.
Some might argue that our nation may not be perfect, but we at least have more peace here than most places. But before you make this claim, stop and think for a moment.
If we do our killing in silence and secret behind closed doors, and commit the most violence against the youngest amongst us who have no voice to be heard, and we refer to this atrocity with the euphemism, “abortion”, does it then follow that we can claim that we live in peace? No! Nothing could be further from peace. The peace you might perceive is a false peace. Our sewers run red with the blood of our children. Not only is there no peace, but we are carrying out a daily massacre of the children in their mothers’ wombs.
If we look at the facts objectively, we see that every day in our nation we kill more innocent children by abortion than the total that were killed by the act of terror on September 11, 2001. However, it is not Osama Bin Laden that is killing our children, we are. Yes indeed, if you truly loved America, you would not be celebrating a lost “liberty and justice for all,” you would instead fight to establish a real liberty and justice for all.
Would you be such a patriot that you are willing to forgo that 4th of July party to be a watchmen who calls a warning to your people to repent before it is too late? (Ezekial 33:1-11)
What Makes Us Strong?…
Boots, M4’s, F-22’s, Trident Submarines, Navy SEALS…Or God?
Many of our Independence Day celebrations will include a display of military might. But our military strength is nothing to the King of kings.
We can no longer ignore what God’s word says:
“…Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain….” – Psalm 127
The Proverbs tell us that:
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” –Proverbs 16
In our efforts to secure our borders or protect our nation from enemies abroad, have we not forgotten our first priority is to be right with God? Can we honestly say that we are even close to a righteous stand before God when we sacrifice our own children by the thousands every day? Can we go into battle thinking God is on our side when we are killing the most defenseless and helpless among us at home? Can you godly men and women who see this truth be willing to declare it boldly to those around you? If you do not do this then who will?
What Would Be Best for America’s National Security?
Consider the following:
“…Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,…
…No king is saved by the multitude of an army;
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
A horse is a vain hope for safety;
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.” – Psalm 33
When the eyes of the Lord look upon our nation does He see one that fears Him? No! His eyes see something that is antithesis of the fear of God. His eyes see the wholesale systematic slaughter of those that bear His image. But even worse, yes even worse, His eyes see a nation of people that praise Him with their lips, but then do nothing to rescue those being lead to the slaughter.
Can we as a nation repeatedly reject God in such a heinous and vile way as dismembering our children and at the same time expect God to stand and guard our gate? No! Indeed we must no longer test His patience, and we must recognize the urgency of the matter. We must realize that our house is on fire. We must accept the reality that the ship is taking on water and sinking fast. We must acknowledge that good men have been asleep on their watch and have allowed this evil to overrun our land. We must repent now!
When our Constitution was constructed, it was a pro-slavery document. The tolerance of slavery at that time, and the inclusion of the “Three-Fifths Compromise” affirmed the evil of slavery at that time. Our nation was eventually judged for this man-stealing crime by the most costly war of her history, with more than 600,000 Americans dying. The Constitution was later amended and slavery was condemned.
But the hatred of our fellow man did not end there. For nearly 100 more years the oppression of image bearers continued in our nation, with a small remnant opposing it. By the grace of God and persevering work of Christians, this wickedness was abolished in the Civil Rights movement and subsequent laws to abolish the despicable ideology of segregation.
Sadly, however, at the same time there was another evil taking root. In effect, we traded “separate but equal” for “pro-choice.” And now after nearly half a century, our nation has protected this “right” for a mother to kill her child to the tune of 60 million lives. Every six months we kill or allow to be killed the same number of Americans who died in the Civil War. How can we honestly say “God bless America” in the face of this? How can we celebrate Independence when so many are denied the foundational right of our Declaration of Independence?
Many people have supported the American model of democracy and freedom abroad as we pursue the “war on terror” and attempt to bring freedom to those being oppressed in foreign lands.
But how can we lead in this effort when our home is not in order?
ISIS, the modern symbol of barbarity in the West, is not beheading 3,000 American children EVERY DAY! We have our own form of domestic terrorism called abortion. We do our own beheadings, disembowelments, eviscerations, and burnings every day in our country…and not only do we allow it to happen, but our own government ensures this ability with the consent of the majority.
There was a missionary, who while speaking to a group of people in Nicaragua was asked a question by a woman in the group, “Is it true that in America that abortion is allowed and that there is a big abortion problem there?” To which he replied, “Sadly it is true.” Then with a perplexed look on her face the woman said, “Then why are you here telling us about Jesus? What moral authority do Americans have here when you are killing your own children?”
This Is Happening On Our Watch: It Is Our Duty
Fellow Americans, stop thinking this is somebody else’s problem or another person’s calling or passion. It may not be your passion or felt calling, but it is YOUR problem. God’s word says that everyone of us will give an account for what we did and didn’t do (Matthew 25:40).
Make no mistake, whether you like it or not, it is your problem and you can’t say you didn’t know. We are all guilty of complicity and complacency in this injustice.
“Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.
If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?” –Proverbs 24
And on this Independence Day let us each celebrate it without hypocrisy. Let us at least honor the Declaration of Independence with a proper call for our nation to repent of this great violation of not only the the Declaration of Independence, but more importantly the Law of God! Let us decry the shedding of innocent blood, all of which God will surely hold us accountable for our complicity AND complacency if we fail to turn from our evil and learn to do good. There is hope in a merciful God who took our sins upon Himself that we might be saved from this wickedness. With God, all things are possible. But let us turn to God while there is still time for us, our children, and our children’s children…
“Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55
